Who would care for your dog after you've gone?

One of the first questions we ask our clients when we set up their first pet sit is for them to supply us with next of kin contacts in case of an emergency. In the unfortunate event of an accident or even the tragic death of a client while they are away from home we need to know who to contact. Along with this responsibility we of course want to ensure that your pets are cared for according to your wishes. In cases where clients do not have close family or friends who would be able to care for your pets we welcome the new Canine Care Card scheme from the Dogs Trust.
The Canine Care Card is a free service that will guarentee you peace of mind, knowing that your dog's future will be a safe and happy one. The Dogs Trust are ready and willing to take responsibility for your faithful friend and lovingly care for around 16,000 dogs each year. They never destroy a healthy dog so you can be assured that your dog will be safe and every effort will be made to find a responsible, caring owner to provde him or her with all the tender loving care that you currently do.
For more information on the scheme and to obtain and application form please contact Sarah Powell on 0113 2814937 or follow this link to the Dogs Trust website. Once you have your card, let us know so we can ensure that your wishes are followed.
